Richard Mille RM 21-02 : Manual Winding Tourbillon Aerodyne

Design 

The new RM 21-02 Tourbillon Aerodyne in white Quartz TPT®, Carbon TPT®, and titanium, which is limited to 50 pieces, showcases Richard Mille's unwavering dedication to pushing the frontiers of creativity while presenting the most recent iteration of the classic calibre. The RM 21-02 case, which measures 42.68 x 50.12 x 14.30 mm, elegantly blends Quartz TPT® and Carbon TPT® with a titanium caseband, showcasing an impressive degree of architectural detailing. In addition to being aesthetically pleasing, the watch's mix of materials gives it a very strong personality that increases its resilience. The case's construction is among the most intricate Richard Mille has ever done. ‍

 

The Richard Mille RM 21-02 Tourbillon Aerodyne is a limited edition watch with many features, including:


Case: A caseback composed of Quartz TPT and a tonneau-shaped case composed of titanium and Quartz TPT. Carbon TPT is used to support the satin-finished grade 5 titanium caseband.


Dial: An open work dial with Arabic numerals for the hours, and a power reserve indicator at 11 o'clock and a torque indicator at 1 o'clock. 


Movement: A hand-wound Caliber RM21-02 movement with 27 jewels, a frequency of 21,600 VPH (3 Hz), and a power reserve of 70 hours. 


Functions: Hours, minutes, function selector, power-reserve indicator, and torque indicator. 


Strap: A black rubber strap with a titanium folding clasp. 


Water resistance: Up to 50 meters. 


Baseplate: A honeycombed Orthorhombic Haynes 214 baseplate. 


Crown: A push button crown at 3 o'clock. 


POWER RESERVE: Around 70 hours (± 10%).


POWER-RESERVE INDICATOR: The amount of hours of energy remaining in the mainspring before the watch needs to be wound again is indicated by the power-reserve indicator.


The RM 21-02 is renowned for its distinctive case design and the blend of carbon and quartz TPT materials.
